Lockdown: Stay Positive. It's Going to be OK.

Hello, beautiful people! We hope you're all ok.

It's just going to be a short one from us, here at Lemonade Box. We just wanted to let you all know that although times are tough right now, we still believe that good things are coming. In fact, good things are happening, right now. All around us. It's difficult to see, sometimes, because the hard times can often become overwhelming. But, we promise you, it's going to be ok.

During times like these, it's important to remind yourselves of your blessings. You have plenty of them. Like, for example, the fact that you have a roof over your head. Or, food in your stomach. These are the things that we often overlook and take for granted. Nobody ever means to take them for granted. But, unfortunately, we often do. It's ok, though, because there's no better time than now, to have a think about them. Think about how lucky you are. Give yourself the time to feel grateful.

Bad news is undoubtedly prominent, right now. It's on the television, the radio, social media, you name it. There's no denying that this is a difficult time. Difficult, being an understatement. But, that's why it's even more important now, than ever, to keep a positive attitude. It's easier said than done, of course. But, it definitely goes a long way.

If you're feeling sad, depressed, lonely and emotionally tired. That's ok. Allow yourself to be upset. Allow yourself the time to cry. You need to open up to your emotions. But, when you feel as though you're ready, pick yourself up and do something that will make you smile. Call the friends you haven't spoke to in a while, practice an old hobby, or pick up a new one, de-clutter a room in your house to feel a sense of productivity. There's lots of things you can do. If you're struggling to find things to do around the house, check out our very own, #StayHomeAndSelfCareChallenge - we've detailed lots of things you can do, to keep up with self-care at home, over the course of 14 days. The post is available below.

What we're trying to say, is keep smiling. Keep your head up. This time will pass. It's very easy to fall into a bad mood, when we're spending so much time indoors. But, keep reminding yourself that this tough time will come to an end. You will be very happy, again. You'll be able to see your friends. You'll be able to see your families. You'll be able to go on dinner dates, cinema, ice skating, whatever it is you love to do. It's going to be ok.

If you ever need anybody to talk to, our DMs are always open. We are always happy to talk to you about anything that may be going on. We don't want you to be sad, alone. We're here for you. Don't hesitate to reach out, whether you approach the team at Lemonade Box, or the team at Pyjama Drama Box. We're here for you. Alternatively, if you ever feel you need to give them a call, we've detailed some helplines below.
